In a collector system, separate pipes branch off from the collector, a special device that distributes water. The collector functions as a router, i.e. it divides the water so that its pressure in the devices does not drop.
With a tee system, main pipes are laid, and from them, branches are diverted through tees to plumbing fixtures. If the diameter of the pipes on the branches is selected incorrectly, the plumbing fixtures can influence each other: for example, when you flush the toilet, the water in the shower may flow poorly.
To fix this, the system needs to be balanced: reduce the cross-section of the outlet pipes or install partial-bore taps. In this case, the diameter of the nominal bore on the branch will decrease, this will reduce water productivity and balance the water supply system. The price of such a tap is from 500 ₽, it costs about the same to install it.
