MAPS College in Mangalore

Maps College, sponsored and managed by Pavoor Education Trust, which was founded with a noble vision to assimilate and synchronize tradition with modernity so as to build a band of professionals, well set with academic skills and social commitment.

Maps was established in the year 2006 under the aegis of Pavoor Education Trust by the Chairmanship of Mr Dinesh Kumar Alva.

The college is affiliated to Mangalore University and offers degree programmes viz B.Com, BCA, BHS (Hotel Management) and B.ASLP along with professional coaching for CA, CS, ACCA, CMA. M.Com, M.Sc. Post Graduate Courses and other Certificate courses such as Aviation and Hospitality Management, Fashion Designing, Web Designing, Animation, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Front Office, Event Management, Catering, Pastry & Bakery and Basic Computers are also offered. The College has excellent infrastructure with three campuses, two within the city of Mangalore at Kadri Hills and Chinmaya Lane-Bunts Hostel and other at green serene rural surroundings in Maravoor on Mangalore-Bajpe Airport road about 8 kms from Mangalore campus.

 Sri Dinesh Kumar Alva

An educationist by himself is a post-graduate in Biosciences and M. Phil in Environmental Biology and has about 30 years of Academic, Research and Industrial experience. His contributions are many in the field of Education, Environment and Social Service.

As we believe in “Education for Life”, it is based on doing things and not just knowing things. Students are to be groomed to face any of the life’s scenarios successfully by applying the knowledge gained through education and emerge victorious.
