Method 1: Copy the QuickBooks desktop files on your system

The user can copy the backup company files of QuickBooks on the desktop. The steps to be followed are:

  • The first step is to open the folder having the company file
  • And then, look for the file with the extension
  • After that right click and select copy option
  • The next step is to paste it on the desktop
  • Once done with that, the user needs to hold the control key and open QuickBooks and open the no company window

  • Click on the open option and then restore existing company

  • After that, open the copied file on the desktop and you are done

Method 2: Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager from the QuickBooks Tools Hub

Run QuickBooks Database Server Manager to host your QB company files on the server. This is best option to reboot the database server manager and rescan the QB files once you rename the .ND and .TLG files.

  • First of all, you need to download the QuickBooks tools hub from here.
  • After that save this on your system.
  • Once the tool successful downloaded run the downloaded file (exe) by hitting double on it.
  • Now follow the on-screen instructions to install this tool on your system.
  • Once the tool installs successfully, open it.
  • Now from the QuickBooks Tools Hub, go to the Network Issues tab.
