Well https://www.chicagowxstore.com/92-White_Sox_Tony_Larussa_Jersey, it was not a very eventful game, and not a very eventful outcome. The Chicago White Sox lost the finale of this three game set against the Kansas City Royals, to lose the series. For some reason, the Royals have been a tough opponent for us to face this year, especially at Kauffman Stadium. Brady Singer had a great outing for the Royals, as he started the game with a 1-2-3 inning. Dylan Cease did not do the same, but rather got off to a shaky start. He allowed a leadoff walk to Whit Merrifield Jake Lamb Jersey, a double to Nicky Lopez, and who could have thought a three-run home run to Salvador Pérez to make it 3-0. Among those players that just continuously seem to dominate against us, yeah, Pérez might have to be on that list, as eight of his 41 home runs this year have come against the White Sox. But as a palate cleanser, here’s a defensive gem from Eloy Jiménez, as he continues to make solid plays in left field. Cease started to solidify as the game went on, except for allowing one more run after Merrifield singled and got to second due to a sacrifice, and Pérez reached on error due to a missed pick by Gavin Sheets, allowing Merrifield to score. Cease struck out the side in the bottom of the fourth inning, and also struck out a batter in the bottom of the fifth after getting into a jam DJ Gladney Jersey. His day ended after five innings with four hits, four runs, and nine strikeouts. Matt Foster took the mound in the bottom of the sixth inning, allowing a leadoff single to Adalberto Mondesi, who went on to steal second and third base. He also walked Edward Olivares, and and Mondesi scored off of a sacrifice fly by Hunter Dozier. Olivares advanced to second due to a balk, and was driven in by Merrifield to make it 6-0. Foster did not have the best outing, and was replaced by Garrett Crochet, who got the last out of the inning. Brady Singer continued to cruise through the White Sox lineup, and ended up going a full scoreless seven innings. He allowed just four hits, with six strikeouts. His ERA now sits at 4.58, and he picked up the win to improve his record to 4-9. As we know, this team has had its struggles on the road, as they are 33-34 away from home. This further proves that home field advantage for the playoffs is very important. The team is neck-and-neck with the Houston Astros in the American League standings overall, so hopefully the Sox can sneak ahead to gain home field by the end of the season. As for now, the team will have Labor Day off before heading the the West Coast to play the Oakland Athletics. It is still being decided who will pitch that game, for us due to our recent starting pitcher injury problem. Enjoy the holiday tomorrow, and get ready for some late-night baseball on Tuesday with an 8:40 p.m. CT start time!
