HOW TO USE

  • For aromatherapy applications, inhaling chamomile oil may help with various conditions, including anxiety and promoting sleep. You can use the oil in a diffuser or a glass spray bottle.
  • A diffuser allows the scent of evaporated essential oils to spread all over a room. When diffusing chamomile oil, you need to be sure to follow the specific directions that come with the diffuser.
  • You can use chamomile oil in a spray; dilute 10 to 15 drops of chamomile oil in water. Pour it into a glass spray bottle and shake well before using it. When using chamomile or any essential oil for aromatherapy, make sure to use it in ventilated well.
  • You can use chamomile oil in massage oil; first, you need to dilute it in carrier oil. There are various carrier oils available, including coconut oil and  jojoba oil

 

 

 

CAUTIONS

 

  • Essential oils are extremely concentrated and that's why they shouldn't be swallowed. Some oils are even toxic. If you want to consume chamomile, then you can use chamomile tea instead.
  • Chamomile does have some potential side effects and drug interactions that you should be aware of like skin irritation and allergies.
  • Pregnant women and children should consult doctor before using essential oils.
  • Besides, some individuals experience irritation when applying essential oils to the skin. You should do a skin patch test before using any new essential oil.
