Psyonix has announced its plans to celebrate Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month and the Independence Days for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile. First up is the free iFiesta Latina bundle, which can be picked up free of charge from the in-game store between September 15th and October 15th. The bundle contains the Acero-Florentina Wheel — a Mexican Sunflower-inspired wheel — and three Player Anthems recorded by AL3JANDRO: Loca, So Good, and We Own the Night. The three tracks will also be added to Rocket League Radio.
Additionally, Rocket League Esports and Rocket Street will be hosting the Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Americas online open tournament, running from September 18th to October 2nd, with sign-ups now open on the Rocket Street website. Instead of a traditional prize pool, qualifying winners will receive a donation towards their chosen cause. The prize breakdown is as follows:
The Goals for Change: Campeonato de las Americas finals will be held on October 2nd and will include interviews with Rocket League players of Hispanic heritage, plus special segments between matches. The full show will be streamed live on the Rocket League Twitch channel on October 2nd.
