Kickasstorrent

One of the best peer-to-peer content-sharing websites supporting the BitTorrent protocol is KickassTorrent, abbreviated as KAT. KAT, first introduced in 2008, appeared to have the most excellent Alexa rankings across the entire internet. It purchased "The Pirate Bay" in 2014, providing free movie and entertainment material streaming. KickassTorrent, however, suddenly stopped operating.
