After using a Sprinter van rental, I have seen that one of the ultimate ways to venture into the environs of Dallas is by this mode of transport. The Sprinter is a vehicle that can hold all of our stuff and at the same time gives us enough headroom, storage space, and thus makes the overall experience enjoyable since we have prepared ourselves for exciting day trips. This blog post is where I would like to take you through a narrative of my 7 day trips around Dallas that you can make with a rented Sprinter van.
- Dinosaur Valley State Park
One of the most alluring places around is the Dinosaur Valley State Park which is situated about eighty kilometers southwest of Dallas. My Sprinter is the first vehicle that popped into my mind in practically every hike, park picnic, and sightseeing trip the strapless trekking poles and super insulated all the packages we pack were quite usually there. The trip spans approximately 1.5 hours and is usually accompanied by the splendid view of the countryside. The major attraction of the park is a set of dinosaur footprints which are quite intimidating to look at, one of the reasons they bring out on me.
- Jefferson
A Visit to the historical town of Jefferson is a real opportunity for those interested in the history of the town. The city is located about 165 miles east of Dallas and it has grown to be known as one of the crowded cities in America. In the 3-hour trip we take, the Sprinter is comfortable for everyone. This combination makes uncovering the antique shops of the town and the boat tours in the river my favorites among every action.
- Galveston
People who love the beach can make a one-day drive to Galveston, which is a mere distance of 290 miles from Dallas. This is a city where the richness of the beach and history support the town. From the fact that our Sprinter van can accommodate all the beach gears, as well as the coolers, we are very sure that we have everything we have to a beach day. It is a wonderful idea to take and explore the place such as that after a 4.5-hour bus ride filled with coastal environment and sites, Galveston is the best place.
- Possum Kingdom State Park
Possum Kingdom State Park is an idyllic natural retreat about a hundred forty miles west of Dallas. Here, one can rent a camp site and do, get lulled by the marine life, and watch birds and other wildlife. The spacious Sprinter van is good for us to carry wherever we go with all our camping stuff and to have a comfortable camp outdoor experience. Well, between the clear water of the park and its limestone cliffs, my heart has been choosen about the natural wonders of the park.
- Fort Worth
Art and culture enthusiasts can visit Fort Worth, just 32 miles west of Dallas. This diverse city brings to the table some of the best museums and art galleries in Texas. With the help of a smooth and comfortable ride of the Sprinter, I can come to the venue with the perfect condition to enjoy the scene. The Kimbell Art Museum and the Fort Worth Stockyards are the reasons of my many trips to the city.
- Fredericksburg
For those who are into small-town innocent atmosphere and remarkable wine, Fredericksburg that lies 250 miles southwest of Dallas is the place I would recommend. The art of wine-tasting and ethnic restaurants that serve most uniquely created ones would be among the treats. Through the extra space which Sprinter provides and the 4-hour ride which we spend very well looking at the Hill Country, we can buy our time and recognize all the beauty of the scenic region.
- Turner Falls Park
Turner Falls Park offers a peaceful and delightful experience with nature to any of the outdoor lovers around it including myself, living 130 miles north of Dallas in Oklahoma. The attraction provides scenic views, a 77-foot waterfall as well as natural swimming spots and hiking trails. And in order to get there and back, we always have to use the Sprinter van which is very tranquil and it takes approximately 2.5 hours each way.
Why Choose a Sprinter Van for Your Day Trips
For me, one of the greatest selling points that I have been able to get from the experiences that I have had during my travels is that the Sprinter van that I had rented has worked so well with me. This city features an extensive list of tourist attraction sites ranging from natural wonders to historical heritages. The van's capacity, ease of use, and flexibility make it stand as an absolute choice for all these trips. Please bear in mind that leasing a Sprinter van for these trips would be a decision that favors your family and friends.
