This is why it's frustrating to see so many armors just being WOW Classic TBC Gold recolours because you could place an intern on that and they'd largely be acceptable. Recolors should at all times be a slider players have access too..
It was hard to decide the distinction between a recolour and an reskin too. I've always thought that reskins would have the same animations, just having a different style, and a recolour , well described as a color change.
Also, LFR, normal and heroic are the same set , with color changes, and it is only the mythic set (and certain pieces of it) which is different.
Reskining the same skeleton and layers another skin over it. If the skin's adjustments aren't too extreme it is possible to be the same as the recolors. They can also add extra pieces and bits.
The Iron Skyreaver is a normal mount made of rylak but with some (extremely loud) jet thrusters to it's wings, as well as bits of armor. This is something called a reskin.
A recolor can be described as the difference between the Black Drake mount (from 10 Sarth) and the Bronze Drake mount (from H CoS). With the exception of the color the skin and model appear the same. Even Experiment 12-B is one more color variation of the drake mount.
Although technically Wind Steed is a Horseman's Steed reskin but the designers put enough effort into it to make it look and feel distinctive. Where as the Legion Paladin Charger is much more closely resembles the Horseman's Steed that it feels a lot more similar but is still distinct enough to qualify as an actual reskin, not just an recolor.
What do you mean by fel armaments, arcane tomes? I quit shadowlands and bfa within the very first month. However, I do not recall buying exalted rep in either tbc or classic.
You can go from Shatt to Auchindoun and back, which is probably less than Kargath and Blackrock Mountain. I don't believe it will be a problem. It's just a matter of having to get rid of or redesign the buy WOW TBC Gold parts with only flying. Teleporter can be moved up or down.
