Cosplayers can be criticized for failing to absolutely reproduce their individual's appearance, even if these screw ups are due to such factors as body length or scientific necessity.    CCosplay    I wore contact lenses to cosplay Aerith, and at that conference I heard complaints about other cosplayers who kept their glasses on when gambling characters who did not wear them.  Spiderman Costume   Still, the intention of maximum cosplayers isn't to create a look-alike, but to specific their personal identity thru a dressing up.
