Modern World of Warcraft is expecting its eighth expansion, Shadowlands before the conclusion of the year - exciting things if you have kept up with WoW through the Wow gold classic years. But if you've drifted off as the sport has undergone various - inevitable - changes and you're looking for an MMO experience that's a little more gritty, you could do a lot worse than jumping into World of Warcraft Classic.

World of Warcraft Classic turned into something when Blizzard eventually gave in following years of players calling for a return to the'vanilla' adventure of Warcraft. Participants got their cure for many years through various private'heritage' servers but when Blizzard purchased Nostalrius, the largest of them to close its doors back in 2016, fans once more called for a formal'vanilla' server. Blizzard finally relented and declared World of Warcraft Classic through the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2018.

But why all the fuss?

When World of Warcraft originally launched back in 2004, it brought in a huge number of players and quickly grew to have millions of subscribers worldwide. Besides the sheer scale of the game, a massive force behind the achievement of this MMO was the world in which it had been set.

Azeroth has existed since the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans started in 1994 and the subsequent Warcraft 2 games further built on the narrative and lore. Warcraft 3 was probably the most popular of these early games and introduced us to a number of the characters that goes on to play huge roles in World of Warcraft, such as Sylvanas Windrunner, Jaina Proudmore, along with Arthas Menethil, among others.

When World of Warcraft launched in 2004, all the lore, history, and places that was laid out in the earlier Warcraft games were brought to life within Blizzard's vast MMO.

If you've only got a couple of hours each week to devote to an MMO, Classic may not be the match for you and you may be better off considering modern Warcraft to fill this Azeroth-shaped hole. Having said that, if you're not particularly worried about endgame content such as raiding or max-level dungeons and only wish to explore Azeroth as it was in 2006 then by all means, carry on. But if you want to enjoy everything that Classic has to offer, then you need to be ready to spend a lot of time not only levelling your personality but finishing different Attunement quests and grinding reputation to get some of those late-game cases.

World of Warcraft Classic doesn't have those quality-of-life improvements that you may be used to in contemporary Warcraft - or indeed many other current MMOs. For starters, the climbing of enemies is a lot less pliable and you may find yourself getting rapidly overwhelmed it you simply take on more than two enemies at once without preparation. Travelling from 1 spot to another in Classic Azeroth is also much more time intensive - flight points are not as plentiful as they are these days and using in-game gold not as easily come by, you may find yourself struggling to save even buy your initial Riding Skill and mount.

The higher grind of Classic World of Warcraft pays off with a sense of authentic progression as you watch your character grow stronger as you gain levels, gear, and cheap wow gold overall experience. You could be wondering if it is worth starting your journey through old Azeroth today, almost one year after launching. The answer is a most definite'yes'.Update your Luggage as quickly as possible
