What Is Allowed On Citilink Baggage Allowance?

If you are traveling with a toddler, you are allowed to bring food toddlers. If seats are booked for a toddler, you are also allowed to bring a toddler car seat that has been approved to the cabin.

Carry-on Baggage

For Citilink initial tariff, you are allowed to bring one of the main hand baggage and a small object to total weight combined of up to 7 kg. If you are traveling with a toddler, you are allowed to bring food toddlers. If seats are booked for a toddler, you are also allowed to bring a toddler car seat that has been approved to the cabin.

Free Baggage Allowance

For most destinations, your free checked baggage allowance is determined by weight (Weight System).

In this post we will cover everything you need about Citilink baggage rules and regulations, to avoid any last minute charges at the airport.

 

These provisions on checked baggage will only apply to domestic flights. Meanwhile, for Citilink Indonesia passengers on international routes, and passengers, who have become Supergreen and GarudaMiles members, or passengers, who purchase a "Green Seat," will still be allowed baggage of 10 kilograms free.

 

All passengers, who have purchased Citilink Indonesia flight tickets before February 8, 2019, are still entitled to up to 20 kilograms of baggage despite being scheduled to fly past the intended date.

 

Passengers are also allowed to carry one piece of luggage, with a maximum weight of seven kilograms and maximum dimensions of 58 cm x 46cm x 23cm at no additional cost, into the cabin.

 

Meanwhile, Citilink Citisport members will be allowed to carry for free 20 kilograms of sports equipment and an additional 10 kilograms of checked baggage free. Citilink Indonesia passengers can also purchase a luggage package before departure to get a more affordable price, with discounts of up to 40 percent.

 

Baggage purchase can be made on the official Citilink website no later than four hours before departure.

 

However, passengers already at the airport can purchase baggage directly at the check-in counter, or Citilink Indonesia's customer service.

 

Rustanto drew reference to Article 22, point C, PM 185 of 2015 that stipulates Citilink Indonesia is included in the category of airlines, with "no-frills" services, or services with minimum standards, which can charge fees for carrying checked baggage.

 

Citilink Checked Baggage Allowance

Your checked (Hold )baggage that can be included into the checked baggage as the free baggage allowance is 20 kg (Domestic)/ per guest.

 

And its size should not exceed the size of 81 cm (H) x 119 cm (L) x 119cm (D) and if there is excess baggage its weight can not be more than 32kg. (with excess baggage charge applicable).

Damaged Baggage

What should I do?

If you received your baggage damaged or broken please make sure to not leave the airport

first make a report to the Lost and Found Department for domestic or international to get the evidence of Goods Damage Report (PIR).

 

The Officers in the lost section (Lost & Found) will repair your luggage immediately if it is still in the condition that can be corrected.

 

If it is not able to be repaired then your luggage will be replaced with new ones. If your report is made after you leave the terminal.

 

Citilink officers make statements instead of PIR. However this loss report documents can not be used as evidence of liability.

Do I have to pay for checked baggage both ways?

Baggage basics

Baggage fees are per bag and per direction. So one way = one charge. Round trip = two charges. If your flight has a connection, bags will generally transfer from flight to flight and no additional fees will apply.

 

How much extra baggage is allowed on international flights? Allowances are made for passengers who must travel with more than two pieces of checked luggage. For an additional per-bag fee, based on departure and arrival cities, passengers can check two additional pieces of luggage.

 

Is 28 inch luggage considered oversized?

 

Generally, all 32, 31, and 30-inch, most 29-inch, and about half of 28-inch checked luggage is considered oversized, or over the 62-inch limit.

 

How much is 5kg extra luggage?

 

All three airlines impose the extra baggage charges at the rate of ₹ 400 per extra kg (if bought at the airport) beyond the permissible limit of 15 kg. With effect from June 22, IndiGo will charge ₹ 1,900 for an extra baggage of 5 kg. For a 10 kg extra baggage, the charges are ₹ 3,800.

On arrival , please immediately report the loss/damage of your luggage to the Lost & Found section so the PIR (Property Irregularity report) can be made immediately to be inputted into our baggage tracing system for investigation.

 

Citilink reminds all its guests not to put valuable items in checked bags before the goods are entered into the check-in baggage. Because Citilink is not responsible in the case of loss of valuables stored in the baggage. (Information is provided in every check-in counter in the form of signage). 

 

Checked Baggage

When traveling with Citilink Airlines, the most common fees for passengers traveling domestically, Citilink Airlines may charge some of the extra fees for extra baggage the information given on Citilink Airlines official site https://www.citilink.co.id.

Excess Baggage

Citilink Airlines permit a wide range of sporting equipment and special baggage on Citilink Airlines flights. Due to the size of the baggage, some of the items may be counted as standard checked bags. However, Citilink Airlines will be considered overweight or oversized items. Citilink Airlines on and bringing pets on board.

Dogs, cats and household birds (birds are only allowed on domestic Indonesia flights) can be carried on-board for $125 one way to/ from most destinations. The fee is $200 for travel outside Indonesia.

The pets must fit within a carrier box that, in turn, fits under the seat in front. The carrier counts as one piece of Citilink Airlines carry-on luggage.
