However, the Jets fanbase cannot be separated from the image of Fireman Ed encouraging the stadium-wide cheer. Although he has stopped performing during games, the chant goes on.

Today, I consider Southern California my home. While Los Angeles has been Los Angeles market has been without a Madden NFL 23 team in the last the past two decades, locals believe a franchise is coming to their area in the next few years. They're generally happy to welcome any franchise with wide arms. One team for which some hold reservation can be the Oakland Raiders.

Why? Because the Raiders have the most terrifying fans in Madden NFL 23. Dressed in heavy spiked attire and sporting faces painted with black and silver they create intimidation in their opponents when the players on the field don't.

Week 16 wasn't an impressive weekend for Madden NFL 23 official officiating. There were the standard wrong helmet-to-helmet calls (Panthers cornerback Josh Norman's hit upon Browns receiver Andrew Hawkins on the first play during the second quarter of their match). There were questionable in bounds/out boundaries calls (Vikings tight end Rhett Ellison's touchdown/not touchdown right before halftime could have been a touchdown).

It was plagued by shaky roughness calls on tackles near the sideline (seriously, Vikings linebacker Gerald Hodges made contact Dolphins rookie receiver Jarvis Landry decidedly in bounds but was penalized after taking Landry on the floor). There was even a quarterback mistake that was declared an incomplete pass with no review (Big Ben's hand was empty against the Chiefs).

There was a sloppy call that was so egregious and irresponsible that I'm sure that the official who made it isn't allowed anywhere near any playoff game. It was the absurd taunting penalty that was imposed to Steelers cornerback William Gay after a particularly amazing, unspectacular move made by buy madden nfl 23 coins Steelers middle linebacker Lawrence Timmons on third down.
