One of cheap OSRS gold the biggest weaknesses in RuneScape's game, and it might also be its biggest advantage, is one common to almost every other MMORPG: its sheer longevity. Between all the thrilling adventures and high-octane PvP fights is the constant grinding away at mundane chores like mining, fishing, or cooking in order to improve your skills or earn the credits needed to purchase that new, naive helmet or piece of armor. Gotta make money somehow, right?
While those can be somewhat relaxing, it's a lot of repetitive repeated thing over and over again - time that could or might not be better spent playing through a couple of shorter, but no less classic video games.
In contrast to being a straight combat, RuneScape is a painstaking battle of attrition that's very long and tiring, and which never truly ends. But, it's very rewarding if you're willing to invest the time in it, as I was. It was at least for a one or two years.
I've never played any MMORPGs sincethen, which has resulted in my everlasting shame and sadness. There are so many real-life concerns and I just don't have time to let them suck me in. Of all games it is the most tedious, with numerous levels to conquer and things to acquire. Many have even died as a result of hours-long binge sessions of RuneScape's younger but more popular sibling World of Warcraft and World of Warcraft, which I'm guessing also makes it an eerie game.
In the present, you'll typically find me gaming Quake or Half-Life or hanging out on Team Fortress 2 - games that are always in high demand leave their marks and then disappear. It's great to play something I like and get rid of quickly, rather than worrying about how many pieces of wood I have in my inventory , or what I'm going to be fishing for tomorrow's session.
In all honesty, I do miss some of the never-ending grind and lengthy involvement (and discomfort) that comes with RuneScape. The game is now in its third form as 'RuneScape 3' (from 2013) with added content and a graphical overhaul, there's a glimmer of hope that I'll revisit it in order to check how things are going just like I would with an old friend.
Publisher Jagex has announced earlier in the year that RuneScape will release early access for mobile in the summer. Beginning today, anyone is able to RS gold play this long-running MMORPG across iOS and Android.
