Lost Ark was made available to Lost Ark Gold players in North America and Europe on February 11, and ever since the time it was released, European players have struggled to play due to the crowded servers. The developer of the game, Smilegate has now acknowledged that there may not be a fix for this issue any time soon.

Lost Ark's North American and European launch was not easy. The launch was a cause for Amazon to give players three free days of Crystalline Aura, which give the player 7,000 free games per minute, as well as a pet that can repair or store objects, as well as allows players to recover the Life Energy 10 percent faster than normal, in addition to other features. While Amazon made good on its promises, Lost Ark players in Europe continue to experience unacceptably long queue times to connect to servers.

In an attempt to address the issue Amazon and Smilegate launched a Europe West Region. The problem is, however, the fact that the game currently doesn't give players the possibility of moving their progress to a different server. In other words, if players wish to join a less popular server, they'll need to start from scratch, which is a tall task for an MMORPG with as many players as Lost Ark. The official Twitter page for the game added that expanding a server's capacity is currently not possible and adding more servers is also unlikely because of the complexity of the game's systems.

This is, unfortunately, it's not all players playing on European servers have had to face. Thankfully, Smilegate and Amazon introduced an upgrade that has apparent fixed other issues that European Lost Ark players have had to face. The patch was said to fix problems with Lost Ark's top currency as well as cash shop. This was a problem that prevented players from refunding the Royal Crystals at the Currency Exchange as well as issues related to Buy Lost Ark Power leveling the game's user interface and an issue that affected the the game's Northern Lawmaker skin.
