The India × Japan DeepTech & AI Venture Challenge 2026 is a one-day venture challenge in Tokyo created for Japanese and Japan-based founders building DeepTech and AI products for the Japanese market.

The program is built around a clear idea: Japan brings the problem and market insight. India brings the engineering team to build.

15 founders will be selected for the cohort and invited to pitch live at Demo Day in Tokyo on July 23, 2026. One Grand Prize winner will receive $30,000 in Webmob engineering credits to build an MVP, PoC, or core product module with a dedicated team of 4 to 6 engineers over 10 to 12 weeks.

The challenge is not designed only for one winner. Every selected founder receives a private product and strategy review, Tokyo stage access, relevant India-Japan ecosystem introductions, and 50% development pricing with Webmob after the program.

Eligible founders include pre-seed, seed, and early Series A startups working in DeepTech and AI sectors such as Healthcare AI, BioTech, Robotics, Enterprise AI, Industrial AI, Climate Tech, FinTech, EdTech, and MedTech.

Applications close July 10, 2026. Demo Day takes place on July 23, 2026 in Tokyo.
