According to Volaris Airlines, children between the ages of five and fourteen are considered unaccompanied minors and must be escorted through the airport by Volaris staff. They also receive special services in accordance with the Volaris Unaccompanied Minor policy. If the child is under the age of four (4), a grownup traveller who is at least eighteen (18) years old must accompany them. Depending on the child's age and the destination, there are many material standards and constraints. The age of the child will be determined based on their chronological age at the time of travel, not necessarily at the time of booking.
